It's a happy 25th birthday to the Carpathians! Today, we enjoyed playing a lovely concert at the Matrix Arts Centre, with a mixed audience ranging from the very young to the (let's just say) "getting a bit long in the tooth" ! Back in 1999, the Titanic House Band, which eventually became today's "Carpathians", played its first ever concert, in this very same hall; so if that's not a good excuse for a 25th anniversary photo, then we don't know what is! In the photo (L-R) we have: Philip (the sole surviving original member of The Titanic), Theresa, John, Simon, Phil, Peter (seated), Simon, Adrian, Richard, Frank, Sue, Penny, Alan, (another) Penny, Robbie, Su and Anna! Perhaps we'll be able to play there again for our 50th anniversary! Huge thanks to Lindsay and the entire team at the Matrix for inviting us to play and especially to the fabulous audience for being so supportive and willing to join in!
